Parking for residents

Every apartment in Charter Quay is assigned a private parking bay for exclusive use by the resident or their visitor.

Parking for visitors

To arrange additional parking, you will need to borrow a bay from another resident. No other parking solutions are available.

There are three ways to borrow a bay:

  1. Make a private arrangement with a neighbour.

  2. Ask the concierge if one of the parking bays donated to them for key workers and tradesmen is available for your visitor.

  3. Join the residents’ bay sharing group and ask if anybody has a space you can borrow.

If no visitor parking is available, your guest will have to find parking elsewhere. The Rose Car Park is a two-minute drive away, and the entrance is in East Lane (KT1 2NN).

If you regularly provide your parking bay to the concierge, please continue to do so, rather than offering it in the bay sharing group. For others, on the occasions your bay is going to be available for many days or weeks, please consider offering it to the concierge for them to manage in your absence.

Wadbrook Street / service area

Parking in Wadbrook Street and the service road is limited to authorised vehicles only; prioritising deliveries, tradesmen, carers, doctors and other essential services. Vehicles that are parked without authorisation will be issued with a parking charge notice.

If you are regularly visited by a carer, please register their car details with Marek or the concierge so it can be added to the whitelist.

Parking control

Parking control at Charter Quay is managed by PESS, an external contractor. Charter Quay does not pay for this service, neither does it earn any revenue from it. Our primary concern is the control of our roads and car parks in this busy town centre location.
