Key fobs
IMPORTANT: Each fob provided has a unique identifier linked to your apartment. Fobs that are lost and/or fall into the wrong hands reduces security. There may also be implications for registered owners should the use of their fob be linked to a crime. Fobs should remain as private and protected as the keys to your apartment door. If you lose your fob, please report it to the Estate Manager so the fob can be blocked and the connection to your apartment removed.
Rental tenants are not permitted to renew or replace fobs without written permission from their landlord.
PAC key fobs (the official fobs used across Charter Quay) are individually programmed and registered to your property. They provide vehicular access (via the touch pads at the entry barrier and garage entrances), access to your apartment or townhouse (from the garage and the entrance to your building or section) and entry to the reception area in Garricks House (for access to the roof garden, gym and business centre). The bicycle storage areas are also controlled by fobs. Remote controls, for use in vehicles, are also available. Additional registered fobs may be purchased through the concierge.
If you are a tenant and you lose or break your fob, please speak to your landlord, who will arrange for your lost/broken fob to be blocked and a new one registered and provided to you. They may charge a fee for this.
If you are a leaseholder and you lose or break your fob, a new one can be purchased from the concierge, which will be registered to you, and your lost/broken fob will be blocked.
Registered PAC fobs that are not unlocking the relevant doors but are still readable by the fob programming machine will be re-programmed and registered without charge.
To help maintain security of the site, HML will block any fobs that they believe are being misused. When necessary, all key fobs can be blocked. Official PAC key fobs will then be re-programmed and registered to individual apartments free of charge. Please call into the concierge when this needs to be carried out.
